Sit & Go (SNG): a poker tournament that begins after the required number of players register rather than at a fixed scheduled start time.
Why it matters
Sit & Gos can use many payout structures. Conventional SNGs often pay higher prizes for higher finishing positions, while Double Up / Double or Nothing SNGs use flat payouts for the surviving group.
